Three arrests made earlier this week at a hotel in Rhyl have been related to a murder inquiry, according to police.
On Tuesday night, armed officers were spotted visiting the town’s Premier Inn.
West Midlands Police have announced that three young guys, one 15 and two 16, were arrested at the hotel on suspicion of murdering Bailey Atkinson, who was stabbed to death in Walsall.
They have since been transported to the West Midlands for interrogation in connection with the death of Bailey, 20, who was attacked in the early hours of Saturday on Walsall High Street, near Asda.
He was taken to hospital, but later died of his injuries. A post-mortem revealed that Bailey, of Bloxwich, had died of multiple stab wounds.
Speaking at the weekend, Bailey’s family said “We respectfully ask for privacy at the moment while we grieve the loss of our beloved boy Bailey. Our kindhearted and much-loved son, brother and grandson.
“Bailey was so loved, by so many and will be missed so much.
“We request if anyone has any information, they please come forward to help the police with their enquiries to help catch the individuals who done this and taken away our boy.”
