Following a severe early morning house fire in Denbighshire, two individuals have been transported to the hospital.
At 05:20 BST on Sunday, three fire brigades were dispatched to the fire on Marsh Road in Rhyl.
Firefighters administered initial treatment to the casualties on-site before paramedics transferred them to the hospital.
An investigation conducted by the North Wales Fire and Rescue Service has determined that the fire was accidental, with a possible cause being attributed to a candle.
The current condition of the individuals involved remains undisclosed.
