What do you think of public toilet provision across Wrexham County Borough?

That the question being put to the public as part of a new consultation launched by the local authority. which is currently reviewing its public toilet strategy.

The consultation, which is available online, asks what people think of the current provision in the city centre, villages and country parks across Wrexham.

Participants are asked to rank things such as hygiene, changing facilities, opening times and quality as adequate, inadequate or in some cases – not applicable due to not being provided in that area.

The consultation also seeks feedback on the room size, RADAR key provision, user equipment and changing place provision in accessible toilet facilities.

Examples can also be given of both good quality and poor quality toilet provision in the county borough, along with feedback on whether there are enough facilities available to the public.

Participants are also asked if they would be willing to pay to use public toilets and whether an app on their phone or better signage would help to make them aware of where the facilities are.

A spokesperson for Wrexham Council said: “Whether we’re in a country park, city centre or in one of our villages we all get caught out from time to time and in need of a public toilet.

“In order to find out what people think of them we’re now reviewing our public toilet strategy and you’re invited to have your say about the current situation across the county borough.”
