TWO people have appeared before Magistrates Court charged with drugs offences following the execution of a warrant at a property at Castle Court, Cae Fardre.

Megan Dacey, 27, was charged with concerned in the supply of crack cocaine and Aaron Christopher, 28, was charged with possession with intent to supply crack cocaine and being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine.

Both were remanded in custody and will appear before Cardiff Crown Court on May 25.

An 18-year-old man from Church Village arrested at the same time on suspicion of drugs offences is on bail pending further investigation.

Local policing inspector Leigh Parfitt said: “These arrests confirm the commitment of South Wales Police and the community to tackle people who are involved in the supply of all forms of drugs.

“With the community’s continued support, they can be confident that we will work hard to make Cae Fardre and the surrounding neighbourhoods a very unwelcoming place for such criminals to operate.”
