PONTARDDULAIS TOWN booked their place in the third of the West Wales Cup on Saturday (Nov 6) as they beat Cwm Wanderers 3-0.
The Bont had beaten Pembrokeshire side Milford United 4-0 in the first round and they were on their travels again as they made the shorter trip to Parc Afon Twrch on Saturday.
The two teams had met just a week prior to this game with the Bont earning a 2-1 win.
Dominic Abramo scored in that game and he opened the scoring on Saturday as he got on the end of a ball from Lewis Glover to score.
Iestyn Rees then set up Liam Owen to score and double Bont’s lead with eight minutes to go until half time.
The Wanderer brought Connor Ennis on but he was only on the pitch for seven minutes as he was shown a straight red card.
Joel Beynon then scored from the penalty to seal Bont’s passage into the third round.
