Kings’ Bridge Spiritualist Centre help beat heartbreak

MEMBERS from King’s Bridge Spiritualist Centre in Carmarthen raised a grand total of £510 towards vital funds for British Heart Foundation Cymru (BHF) to help beat heartbreak forever.

The BHF funds research into all heart and circulatory conditions, including heart diseases, stroke and vascular dementia, along with risk factors including diabetes. Bethan Walters who runs the King’s Bridge Spiritual Centre chose to support BHF due to family members who have been affected by heart disease. Bethan said: “We are delighted with the amount raised for BHF Cymru and I would like to thank everyone who has helped and supported this worthwhile cause.”

Jayne Lewis Fundraising Manager South West Wales said: “Heart and circulatory diseases kill one in four people in Wales which is devastating for those they leave behind. BHF Cymru is funding pioneering research, to find vital treatments for people living with these conditions. Too many lives are lost in Wales each year, and we’re determined to do everything we can to help the 375,000 people across Wales who are fighting a daily battle with heart and circulatory disease. Thanks to the support of the King’s Bridge Spiritual Centre, BHF can continue to fund research into these conditions.”
