Ashmole & Co accountants are delighted to welcome an experienced local VAT & Payroll Clerk to the Carmarthenshire team.
The accountancy firm’s VAT & payroll team has gone from strength to strength with Jill Roberts, from Amroth, having recently joined the Carmarthen office team.
Day to day, the VAT & payroll team are the hidden heroes for local clients as they administer their pay systems. Seven years ago Ashmole & Co had just one payroll clerk and now, with Jill joining, they are a strong team of eleven.
With over 30 years of previous experience in book keeping, Jill prepares VAT returns and processes payrolls for Ashmole & Co’s local clients. She is also on hand to resolve any queries clients may have.
Welcoming Jill to the team, Sharon George, Partner in the Carmarthen Ashmole & Co office, said, “We are absolutely delighted to have Jill, with all her previous experience, join our team. Our dedicated payroll service allows local companies to be relieved of the burden of administering their payroll.”
With Ashmole and Co managing VAT and payroll, local clients can concentrate on the core activities of their business. Payroll registration, advice, compliance, investigations, bureau service and CIS contracts are all part of the service Ashmole & Co can provide.
The most rewarding part of the job for Jill is working as part of the team that deal with a lot of different types of clients – from sole traders to large companies. She also enjoys the variety of industries the firm deals with from farming businesses to shop owners in Carmarthen town centre.
Jill enjoys keeping fit in her spare time doing Pilates and weights classes. She leads a local walking group and hopes to walk all of the Pembrokeshire coastal path one day. Thanks to the guidance of another member of the team in the Carmarthen office she has recently taken up crocheting.
