ST. MICHAEL’S SCHOOL, Llanelli are thrilled to announce another year of absolutely outstanding GCSE results. Our pupils have worked incredibly hard over the past two years and this has shown in the results that have been achieved. 87% of grades were A*- A, 97.1% were A*- B and 99.8% of grades were A*- C. 100% of all pupils gained five or more A*- C grades and 90% of pupils gained five or more A*- A grades. Over a quarter of all pupils achieved 100% A* grades.
Headmaster Mr Benson Ferrari said “Yet again, our pupils have demonstrated the strong foundations they have laid with today’s GCSE results. This set of grade provides an excellent basis on which to tackle their A-Levels with us.
“Their dedicated preparation and conscientiousness in the run up to the examinations has paid dividends. We now wish them all the very best as they move up into the Sixth Form.”
The GCSE results follow on from last week’s A-Level results, which were also exceptional and saw 79.1% of all grades being either A* or A.
