Reds come from behind to beat Taffs Well

LLANELLI TOWN came away from Taffs Well on Monday (Jan 2), with a 2-1 win.

David Lyon had put the home side ahead in the 39th minute but Eli Phipps equalised for the Reds.

Thomas Hillman then scored midway through the second half and the visitors held on for the win.

They also have coming up a run of three successive home league fixtures, with Cambrian & Clydach Vale, Swansea University and current leaders Barry Town United all due at Stebonheath before the end of January.

Sandwiched in between, Connah`s Quay Nomads, who are second in the Welsh Premier, are the visitors in the 4th round of the JD Welsh Cup on Saturday, January 14, with the tie being televised live on S4C from 5pm and kick off 5.15.
