Sunshine Rugby from the Baa-Baas in special match

Swansea RFC 33
The Barbarians 68

A CROWD of 6238 attended St Helens to celebrate the 150th year of Swansea RFC and watch The Barbarians who were back at St Helens for the first time since 1994.

This fixture was the icing on the cake for the All Whites celebrations.

The Baa-Baas didn’t disappoint as their free abandon flow of rugby thrilled the spectators. The Whites played their part in this celebratory game by scoring some excellent tries of their own.

Wales and British Lion legend Alun Wyn Jones played for both sides during the game much to the delight of the home support.

The result of the game was secondary to the entertainment both sets of players produced.
