GOWER BREWERY’S newest collaboration with Pieminster brings both beer and pie lovers an award-winning combination.
Located in the heart of Mumbles, the Taproom will offer the widest range of Gower Brewery Beers along with a selection of tasty pies including vegan and gluten free options.
The Taproom is due to open early April with a soft launch of drinks and retail on Friday, April 7 with a full opening with food shortly after the Easter break.
This perfect pairing sees the flavour of Gower matched with the country’s most iconic pie restaurant. With over 20 years of sustainable pie-crafting, Pieminister consistently delivers quality in every mouthful.
The menu will also offer a selection of small plates and as well as Pieminster’s famous Mothership and the Sunday Best, a Yorkshire pudding topped pie!

This is a fantastic opportunity for people to sample our full range of beers and really get a flavour for what we brew here on the Peninsula. Also, who doesn’t love a pie and a pint?”
The Taproom replaces cakes and ale on Newton Road on Mumbles’ famous highstreet.
It’ll be open seven days a week during high season from midday until late. The bar will stock the full range of Gower Brewery beers including Gower Gold, Gower Power, Lighthouse Lager and newer additions such as Langland Lager, Oxwich Ipa and Gower Zero, their 0.5% low alcohol IPA.
Visitors will also be able to browse a selection of limited edition brewery merchandise whilst enjoying a fresh pint of cask and keg beers on the doorstep of the Gower Peninsula.
Established in 2011, Gower Brewery has been brewing ales of outstanding natural beauty in Crofty Industrial Estate on North Gower. Their beers are the flavour of the Peninsula and their flagship ale, Gower Gold is much loved by locals and visitors alike.
You can visit the onsite brewery shop, bar and book onto a brewery tour. Gower Brewery also offers a home delivery service and supply to a variety of pubs across the country. They also host the Malthouse; a cafe, bar and restaurant in Swansea Grand Theatre.
