COLEG CEREDIGION has been awarded the Career Wales Mark to acknowledge the continuous quality improvement in the provision of careers and the world of work programmes which provide students with valuable activities including work experience, skills events and organised visits from local business people.

The Career Wales Mark is re-assessed every three years and the campus has successfully improved the quality of their programmes giving young people the skills and experience needed to excel in the work place.

Emma Benger, Career Wales’ Careers and World of Work Coordinator, presented the Careers Wales Mark certificate to Rhiannon Elias and Helen Griffith, Directors of Curriculum and Learners for Coleg Ceredigion’s Cardigan and Aberystwyth campuses.

“I am very pleased to accept the Careers Wales Mark”, commented Helen Griffith on behalf of Coleg Ceredigion. “It has been a pleasure to work closely with Careers Wales to gain this quality standard which recognises our work in embedding Careers Education into the curriculum. Our aim is always to ensure that all our learners are given appropriate advice, guidance and suitable opportunities to progress onto their next step after college; be that further training, higher education or into the world or work.”
