PEMBROKESHIRE- based Edwards Coaches have once again been voted ‘Welsh Coach of the Year’.
The annual UK Coach Rally, which this year took place in Blackpool on the weekend of April 23-24, marked the 62nd anniversary since its inception in 1955.
This year saw over 50 different entrants to the rally, which made up the promenade in front of the famous Blackpool Tower.
2016 marks the fourth consecutive year of Edwards Coaches winning the award for ‘Welsh Coach of the Year’. The coach which won the award was the Mercedes Tourismo, which is part of the 300-strong vehicle fleet at Edwards Coaches.
This coach, which is used mostly on continental holidays, allows for greater passenger comfort and entertainment onboard with modern TV screens fitted throughout the coach.
With the recent investment of £5m and addition of 19 new coaches, the fleet is growing quicker than ever before as Edwards look to further their reach across South Wales and across the bridge into England.
