MAKING popcorn over a campfire is just one of the fun family activities at the National Botanic Garden of Wales this February halfterm – when children go free.
Gruffalo author Julia Donaldson’s creation ‘Stickman’ will be a special feature of the holiday fun and games and storytelling. Giant Jenga and draughts, making walking sticks and charcoal, stick swords and soap are all on the adventure agenda.
The action starts on Saturday, February 13 and continues until Sunday February 21.
The Garden’s Family Activities run from 12noon until 4pm every day of half-term. The Garden is open from 10am until 4.30pm and it is free admission for the under-16s.
