Bridge score five in second half to beat Neyland

MERLINS Bridge scored five second half goals to earn maximum points against Neyland at the Racecourse last Saturday (Apr 9).

Ben Davies rounded the Neyland keeper to make it 1-0 to the Wizards midway through the first half, but Neyland were level at half time, thanks to a Max Bowman-Davies effort.

In the second half, Adam Hawkins volleyed the Bridge in front and a well taken hat-trick by Will Haworth along with an own goal ensured that the Bridge won the game.

However, the goal of the game was scored by Neyland’s Aidan Rees. A shot from 30 yards that flew into the top corner as a late consolation goal.
