Carew prove too strong for Clarby

CAREW moved up to fourth place in Division 1 on Saturday (Feb 26) as they beat Clarbeston Road 5-1.

The win for Carew is their third in a row in all competitions and sees them move to within a point of Clarby who remain in third place.

Adam Muskett continued his fine form with the opening goal in the first minute of the game.

Ben John equalised for Clarby on 18 minutes and the score remained the same until half time.

In the second half, Muskett scored his second goal of the game to put Carew back in the lead on 48 minutes.

Muskett then completed his hat trick with nine minutes to go to all but seal the three points for the visitors.

Sonny Phillips and Jacob Knox then scored in the final five minutes to give the scoreline a more comfortable look.

On Saturday, March 5, Carew travel to Neyland while Clarbeston Road host Narberth.
