Crymych score eight tries against Penclawdd

CRYMYCH scored eight tries against Penclawdd as they ran out convincing winners by 50 points to seven on Saturday (Jan 15).

It was their first game since December 4 but they showed little signs of rustiness as they took a 24-0 lead in the first half.

Eilir George scored a hat trick of tries and Laurence Headlam also went over twice.

Other tries came from Carwyn Rees, Osian Hill and Ilan Phillips.

Hill also scored five conversions to help Crymych to their second win of the season.

Penclawdd battled back in the second but just had a converted try to show for their efforts.

On Saturday, January 22, Crymych travel to Felinfoel, looking to build on their big win
