Second half goals seal the points

second half goalsMerlins Bridge 0

Johnston 2

TWO second half goals sealed the points for the Tigers on the Racecourse.

The first half was a pretty even affair with the Bridge just having the better of the chances. But it was all Johnston in the second half. They took the lead on the hour mark when substitute Nicky Woodrow was last to touch a goalmouth scramble, poking in a rebound from keeper Carl Woodhouse. Fifteen minutes later the Tigers were two up when Chris Ormond got on the end of a whipped corner to head home.

For the rest of the match it was all Johnston and it could have been a bigger scoreline but for the keeping of Woodhouse.
