Goodwick come from behind to beat Carew

GOODWICK United came from behind to beat Carew on Saturday (Apr 9) to maintain their unbeaten season.

Carew had beaten Goodwick by a single goal in the Senior Cup in February and they looked set to earn another win as Jordan Richards put them ahead in the ninth minute.

And with just under half an hour gone the visitors were awarded a penalty. Adam Muskett stepped up and scored to make it 2-0.

However, Goodwick pulled a goal back four minutes before the break as they were awarded a penalty which was converted by Rhys Dalling.

Just three minutes into the second half the home side were level thanks to Scott Delaney.

Dalling then put Goodwick ahead with his second goal on the hour mark and they made it 4-2 with twenty minutes to go courtesy of Jordan Griffiths.

With eight minutes left the points were secured as Dalling completed his hat trick to make it 5-2 to the Division 1 leaders.
