Hundleton get back to winning ways

HUNDLETON got back to winning ways on Saturday (Feb 5) as they beat Pennar Robins 4-0 in Division 1 of the Pembrokeshire League.

They had lost their previous three league games but their win against the Robins keeps them level on points with fifth placed Merlins Bridge.

Will Davis put Hundleton ahead after twenty minutes and they held on to their lead until half time.

Early in the second half Pennar were awarded a penalty but Tom Grimwood failed to convert and Hundleton remained ahead.

Six minutes later Hundleton doubled their lead with Will Davis getting his second goal of the game.

Cameron Brunton and Connor Hay then scored in the space of two minutes to all but seal the win for the visitors.

That was the end of the scoring as Hundleton held on for a welcome win.

The sides will do it all again on Saturday, February 12, as they play the reverse fixture.
