CARMARTHEN TOWN’S frontman Mark Jones has been awarded Dafabet WPL Player of the Month for February following his performances that assisted in the club maintaining a 100% record during the month.
Jones featured for the Old Gold in both of their away wins at Port Talbot Town (0-2) and Aberystwyth Town (2-4) with the latter in front of the S4C cameras.
In that live match Mark notched a hat-trick for the visitors including two goals from the penalty spot and a delightful left footed curled effort which beat Mike Lewis and cannoned off the inside of the post into the goal.
The striker has certainly made an impressive impact at Carmarthen since moving from Park Avenue in the summer with 10 league goals in 25 appearances.
