Davies and Huw Brock then added 78 runs for the second wicket. Davies neared his half century while Brock played a supporting role, hitting two fours and a six in his score of 24.

Brock was caught by James Caine off the bowling of Tom Mansbridge and, soon after, he also had Joseph Kiff (10; 1 six) out in the same way.

Davies hit twelve fours and three sixes as he reached his century, eventually falling for 104 to the bowling of Jack Franklin.

It left Joe Phillips not out on 11 as Saundersfoot were set 233 to win the game.
