A LATE goal from Joshua Medwin gave Cwmamman United a 2-1 victory in their derby game with Ammanford on Tuesday night.
There were perfect conditions for the first ever Welsh League Division Two clash between the sides and there was plenty of action.
Both sides showed plenty of passion and commitment as they look to make their way towards the top of Division Two.
It looked as if the first half might finish goalless but Cwmamman’s Craig Springer scored on the stroke of the half time to give the home side a 1-0 lead.
That goal did not deflate the visitors and they equalised in the second half through Craig Frater.
Josh Medwin was the hero for Cwmamman as he popped up to score the winning goal.
It was an excellent game of football between both sides.
