Muskett scores eight as Carew beat Narberth

CAREW moved up to sixth place in Division 1 on Saturday (Jan 15) as they beat Narberth 12-0.

Adam Muskett starred for the Rooks as he scored eight times, the first of his goals coming in just the first minute of the game.

He scored again after 19 and then 24 minutes to complete a first half hat trick and Carew held a 3-0 lead when the half time whistle went.

Muskett then scored a penalty just a minute into the second half and four minutes later Dylan Morgan made it 5-0.

Another penalty followed soon after and Muskett converted for his fifth goal of the game.

He then scored twice more to take the score to 8-0 before James Hinchliffe got his name on the scoresheet.

Max Brindley then scored Carew’s tenth goal of the game before Muskett added his eighth goal with twelve minutes still to play.

Hinchliffe then grabbed his second goal of the game five minutes from the end to complete the scoring.

On Saturday, January 22, Carew travel to St Ishmaels while Narberth host Pennar Robins.
