NARBERTH seconds earned an excellent win on Friday night (Feb 25) as they beat a strong Haverfordwest development side.
Narberth got off to a flying start, scoring a superb try in the clubhouse corner after 5 minutes, Shane Rossiter going over after some lovely play by the backs. Shane then added a penalty to make it 8-0.
Haverfordwest, to their credit, battled hard throughout scoring a try through there forwards after 20 minutes, and it was game on at 8-7.
Narberth added a second try just before the break, Jordie James touching down after some great work by the pack from a driving lineout to make it 15-7 to the hosts.
The second half remained scoreless as both packs battled for possession, with chances few and far between.
A good Friday night game played in front of a good crowd, a cracking advert for local rugby.
