The fixtures for the new season were released this week with the first fixtures taking place on Friday, August 16.

Carmarthen, who finished ninth last season, will be aiming to push on and look to achieve a place in the top half of the table, something they haven’t done since the 2016/17 season.

Their first home game sees them host Newtown at Richmond Park the following Friday (Aug 23).

Airbus UK have returned to the WPL after a two year break and the Old Gold face them at the Airfield on September 28.

Carmarthen’s home game against Aberystwyth takes place on Saturday, October 19.

Penybont are the league’s other newcomers having had an excellent season in Division 1 of the Welsh Leagues and they will travel to Richmond Park for this year’s Boxing Day fixture.

They will then play the return fixture at the KYMCO Stadium on New Years Day.

The first phase of the Premier League season ends on Friday, January 17, with Carmarthen travelling to Jenner Park to take on Barry Town United.

The league will then be split in two and Carmarthen will be hoping they will have done enough to secure a top half finish.
