Pembrokeshire youngsters heading for Premier League tournament

PEMBROKESHIRE Schools Footballers are heading for the Premier League.

Norwich City may be bottom of the Premier League but some of the best players in the World have played on the Carrow Road pitch this season and superstars such as Mo Salah and Ronaldo know what it feels like to score a goal at Carrow Road, but could the next player to achieve that be a young schools footballer from Pembrokeshire?

Well, Pembrokeshire Schools Under 10s team have been accepted into the Norwich City F.C. Tournament on Sunday, May 29, and all of the games will be played on the Carrow Road pitch.

Coach Matthew Price said: “It will be an amazing experience for the boys and the memories that they will take away from it will last a lifetime.”

However, everything comes at a cost and the boys have organised their own Bingo Event on Wednesday, April 13, to raise funds and Haverfordwest Rugby Club have very kindly donated the venue and everybody is welcome to attend.

The boys have also been bought a new kit for the occasion with sponsorship from VEOLIA and L & P Removals, and their Coach added: “A massive thank you to those businesses.”

If you would like to help the boys fund their big day, then please attend the bingo event or send an email to [email protected]
