Muskett scores hat trick as Carew beat Pennar

CAREW earned their eighth league win in a row on Tuesday night (Apr 5) as they beat Pennar Robins 5-2 at Bush Camp.

Adam Muskett continued his fine form this season as he opened the scoring in the first minute of the game.

Carew also hit the bar from a corner in the first half while Pennar saw a shot go just wide.

On the stroke of half time Nick Willis scored for Pennar to level the game at 1-1.

However, Carew scored two quick goals at the start of the second half to put themselves in a strong position.

Jordan Richards put Carew ahead in the 53rd minute and Muskett then scored his second two minutes later.

James Hinchliffe added Carew’s fourth with thirteen minutes to go to all but seal the win for the visitors.

Muskett completed his hat trick in the 81st minute as he scored from the penalty spot.

Willis pulled a second goal back for Pennar late on but it was just a consolation for the home side.

The win for Carew keeps them in third place in the table, five points behind second placed Hakin United.
