Williams, who plays at fullback and wing, will join the championship side for the 2016-17 season.

Williams has made 54 appearances for the Scarlets with his only appearance this season coming against Zebre in October in the Guinness PRO12. He has scored 81 points for the region, scoring 13 tries.

Jon Daniels, Scarlets General Manager of Rugby said: “Jordan has been in our development system for many years. He is one of the most gifted players you will come across but he has been unable to consistently command a first team place this year.

“We understand and respect his desire to secure regular first team rugby and as such he goes to Bristol Rugby with our blessing and best wishes for the future.”

Jordan Williams said: “I’d like to thank the supporters, coaches and my team-mates at the Scarlets for the support they have shown me. Scarlets is a club that will always remain close to me and I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at the region.”
