Pendine Beach: Body found in the search for missing Billy Miller

EMERGENCY SERVICES have confirmed that a body has been found in the sea at Pendine Beach during the search for missing Billy Miller.

An official police statement reads: “Dyfed-Powys Police can confirm that a body of a male was found in the sea at Pendine beach late yesterday afternoon, Tuesday 23rd June, during the search for Billy Miller who had been reported missing.

“Formal identification has not yet taken place, however Billy’s family have been informed of this development.

“Our thoughts remain with the family at this time.”

Billy’s sister has thanked the rescue services who recovered his body on Tuesday evening (Jun 23).

In an emotional Facebook post Rhea Miller has started a fundraiser to raise money for the Royal National Lifeboat Institution, saying: “They were the ones that brought Billy home! Love you all from the bottom of my heart.”

Speaking of her grief on the loss of her brother she said: “My heart is broken into a million pieces, thank you so much for all the support over the last few days, everyone. I love you brother. Rest in peace.”
