AN AMMANFORD man is to stand trial accused of assault and false imprisonment.
Barry Llewellyn, aged 36, appeared before Judge Geraint Walters at Swansea Crown Court today (Sept 8) for a plea and trial preparation hearing.
Llewellyn, of Treforis, denied assaulting a man on August 5, causing him actual bodily harm and falsely imprisoning him on the same day.
Ian Wright, prosecuting, said a second man had been arrested in connection with the alleged incident.
Llewellyn, who is being held in custody at Swansea prison, will stand trial on November 30.
