THREE people have been injured after being run over by a car in a GP surgery car park in Burry Port this morning (Sept 7).
The Wales Air Ambulance transported one of the casualties who had serious injuries.
The incident took place at Parc y Minos Street, at the Meddygfa Tywyn Bach car park.
A spokesperson for the Wales Air Ambulance said: “Wales Air Ambulance attended an RC involving multiple patients in the Burry Port area this afternoon.
“The crew arrived on the scene at 12.35pm and were clear from the scene at 13.24pm.”
A Welsh Ambulance Service spokesperson added: “We were called at shortly after 11.40am to reports that a number of pedestrians had been hit by a car in a car park on Parc Y Minos Street, Burry Port.
“The Wales Air Ambulance, three crews in emergency ambulances and an ambulance officer attended and three patients were taken to hospital by road; two to Morriston Hospital in Swanseavand one to Glangwili General Hospital in Carmarthen.”
