Animal park voted top UK farm

pigs1A COASTAL FARM park in Cardigan has been featured on HolidayLettings’ ‘Top 20 Farms in the UK’ list, which has been based on industry research and TripAdvisor Reviews. Cardigan Island Coastal Farm Park, in Ceredigion, was one of only two Welsh farm parks, as well as the only coastal farm, on the list.

The list was compiled as part of HolidayLettings’ spring recommendations, encouraging family days out spending time together seeing nature at its finest at this time of year. HolidaysLettings have been a UK leading holiday accommodation provider since 1999 and is a branch of TripAdvisor.com.

Holiday Lettings said of Cardigan Island Farm: “This one is a bit special. If you can draw your gaze away from the stunning scenery, you’ll get to spend some time with llamas, wallabies, seals and the magnificent bottle-nosed dolphin. Be sure to take a camera as this is an experience that you won’t want to forget.” Cardigan Island Farm Park say that you can expect to see many animals in the wild such as Atlantic grey seals and seal pups, harbour porpoises and seabirds such as rare choughs and skylarks.

The farm park is open between 10am and 6pm, and entry prices are £3.90 for people aged 14 and over, £3.50 for OAPs, £2.90 for young people aged between two and 13 years of age, and free for children under twoyears- old.
