Machynlleth: Murder inquiry launched after two bodies found

Welsh-policeA MURDER inquiry has been launched after two bodies were found at a property in west Wales.
Dyfed-Powys Police was called to an isolated property near Machynlleth on Sunday following reports of the sudden death of a 51-year-old woman.
During a search of the grounds, officers also found the body of a man.
Police said they are treating the woman’s death as murder and are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident.
The coroner has been informed and a post-mortem examination for the man, 45, is due to be carried out on Tuesday.
Speaking to The Herald, Detective Superintendent Steve Cockwell, said: “Dyfed-Powys Police are continuing to investigate the deaths of two people at a property on the outskirts of Machynlleth.  We are now treating the death of a 51 year old female as murder, but at this time are not looking for anyone else in connection with the death.  The post mortem of a 45 year old male is scheduled for tomorrow.   We are still working to trace both individuals next of kin.”
 Officers were called to the property at approximately 3:50pm on Sunday  April 10.
