OVER the last couple of months Welsh rugby legend Shane Williams has been appealing for places to stay in Tenby during the 2016 Long Course Weekend.
He has previously asked if anyone has a house or flat to rent, but this week he appealed for help in finding a caravan to rent in the town’s largest caravan park, Kiln Park. He asked his army of followers – “Anyone looking to rent their caravan out in Kiln Park Tenby for the Long Course weekend July 8-10 let me know? Ta”
The record-breaking winger was inundated with responses and offers, although he may well be sorted, as general manager of the park Alex Saul responded with his telephone number. Local residents can look forward to seeing Shane competing on the streets of the town once more, after he completed the Ironman Wales in September 2015.
