Channel 4 looking for house hunters

CHANNEL 4’s property TV show Coast vs Country is looking for house hunters in Wales to come on the show.

Freeform Productions, the TV production company behind Channel 4’s Coast vs Country and A Place In The Sun, is offering house hunters in west Wales the opportunity to take part in the show.

The daytime property series, fronted by Kerr Drummond and Kirsty Duffy, follows prospective buyers as they search for their dream home. In each episode, they pit two beautiful dreams against each other, moving to a rural idyll in the British countryside, versus enjoying a new life in a coastal hotspot by the sea.

Participants are shown three coastal properties and three countryside properties in their chosen search area, as they decide whether their heart lies with the UK’s rolling hills and pretty villages or in a stunning coastal location packed with seaside culture.

Now in it’s third series, the producers would like to hear from anyone who would like to take part. Presenter and property expert Kerr Drummond said: “I love working on Coast vs Country because we have the opportunity to help people find their perfect property. There’s nothing more rewarding than knowing you’ve helped someone move into their forever home.”

A couple are known to be looking in Carmarthenshire from April 29 until May 3 for the latest series, and if you’d like some help to find your dream home, no matter where in the UK you are moving to, then contact Freeform Productions at [email protected] or call 01923 285 282.

Coast vs Country have previously filmed in different locations throughout Wales, and a notable success of the last series was a man moving from his cosmopolitan flat in Cardiff to a four bedroom coastal bay-fronted property situated in Barry Town, after being shown three coastal and three countryside properties across the South Wales area, and having spent only £212,500 of his £230,000 budget.
