A FIRE crew from Newcastle Emlyn were dispatched last night (Jan 2) after receiving reports of a car on fire in the Beulah area at approximately 5:30pm.
They battled the blaze but the car was ‘totally destroyed’ by the fire.
During the incident, firefighters used two hose reel jets and a breathing apparatus to put out the fire.
A Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “The vehicle was totally destroyed by fire. We sent one crew to the scene and we made Dyfed-Powys Police aware of the incident but they did not attend the scene.
“Nobody was in the car at the time and it’s unclear what caused the fire.”
