First Minister Carwyn jones: With Lamprey School pupils

LAMPHEY PRIMARY SCHOOL Councillors and Ambassadors visited the Senedd in Cardiff on Tuesday (Jan 19), where the day started with a very informative guided tour around the building after which they were able to watch a debating session led by the First Minister.

The children were then taken to the cabinet room where the First Minister, Carwyn Jones, who spoke to them about their School Council, met them.

The pupils and staff were very grateful to Ms J Runeckles who had organised the day. Headteacher, Mr S Thomas, said, “It was a fascinating day in which the children saw democracy in action. The children were incredibly fortunate to meet the First Minister who gave of his time freely.”
