NATURAL RESOURCES WALES have issued a notice following an illegal rave over the Bank Holiday weekend in the Halfway Forest.

They say that rubbish, drug refuse and even excrement remain at the site.

The NRW notice reads: “Due to an illegal rave which took place over the Bank Holiday weekend, there is considerable rubbish, drug related refuse and excrement on the access to, and in and around, the old Halfway sawmill site.

“We are co-operating with Dyfed-Powys Police in dealing with this incident, and steps are being made to have this cleaned up as soon as possible.

“We advise y ou to take the paths and roads on the west side of the stream – Nant y Dresglen – to avoid the worst areas.

“Please keep your dog on a lead.”
