DO you still have Pembrokeshire County Council Library books at home after enjoying some extra reading during the Covid-19 pandemic?

A lot of people have taken the opportunity to bury their heads in a good book over the last two years.

But if you are holding on to overdue library books now is the time to return them, so other avid readers can enjoy them.

During the pandemic, Pembrokeshire Libraries have not been charging overdue fines but from 1 st April 2022, the charges will be reInstated.

Overdue books will be charged at 15p per book, per day for adult customers (10p per book, per day for concessions) up to a maximum of £5 per item. There is no overdue charge for Children’s books borrowed on a Child’s Library card.

These items will all be due back by 21 st April 2022. Any item not returned by that date will start to incur overdue fines.
