Llanelli Festival of Walks

Screen Shot 2016-04-06 at 14.58.53LLANELLI Ramblers organise and host the annual Llanelli Festival of Walks, which is an event that takes place over the Spring Bank Holiday, attracting hundreds of visitors to the town from the length and breadth of the UK since it began in 1995.

The Festival of Walks, which has established Llanelli as a popular centre for walking, is open to all -old and young, non-members and members alike. It offers a wide variety of walking route choices, with 5 different walks to suit all abilities on offer every day over the May bank holiday weekend.

The walks will take place in areas such as the Rhondda and Gwendraeth Valleys and the spectacular South Wales Heritage Coast, ending with a traditional Welsh tea.

The dates for the 2016 Llanelli Festival of Walks are Saturday May 28 to Monday May 30, with an opening evening taking place on Friday May 27.
