DYFED-POWYS POLICE is appealing for information following an incident involving a lorry parked in a lay-by at St Clears overnight on Monday (Oct 9).
The brake air valves were tampered with along with the safety clip for the spare wheel.
This could have resulted in a subsequent accident had the driver not checked prior to his onward journey.
Any persons with information are asked to contact police by ringing 101 and quoting reference number 67 of October 10.
Officers also urge drivers of any heavy goods vehicles to be vigilant whilst parking overnight and to carry out the relevant safety checks.
