A MAN was taken to hospital in the early hours of this morning (Oct 10) following a 12 hour negotiation with police.
Officers originally attended an address in Water Street, Kidwelly, at around 5pm on Monday following concerns for a man’s welfare.
Two fire crews were placed on standby by the police, and the Wales Ambulance Service was called to the property at 5.05am. One man was taken to Glangwili Hospital, His condition is unknown but it is believed that his injuries are not serious.
A spokesperson for Dyfed Powys Police said: “We received a call shortly before 5pm yesterday evening (Oct 9), reporting concern for the welfare of a man at a property along Water Street, Kidwelly.
“Following a period of negotiation at the scene, the man was conveyed to hospital.”
