Man dies following crash on B4312

A 79-YEAR-OLD man has died following a serious road traffic collision, involving two cars, on the B4312 between Johnstown and Llansteffan, at 10:15pm on Tuesday (Aug 29).

A spokesperson for Dyfed-Powys Police said: “A maroon Rover 400 and a red Audi A1 collided head-on. Tragically a 79-year-old man died. Next of kin and H.M. Coroner are aware.

“Ambulance attended the scene. The two women travelling in the Audi were taken to hospital, suffering broken bones and a number of minor injuries.

“The road was closed and re-opened at 6am today.

“Anyone who witnessed the collision, or has any information that could help officers with their investigation, is asked to call Carmarthenshire Roads Policing Unit by calling 101.
