Man seriously hurt in ‘attack’

man seriously hurtA SAUNDERSFOOT man has been remanded in custody following a violent incident near The Deck public house at 8.35pm on Saturday.

James Robert Toulouse, aged 22, of Bonville Close, appeared before Haverfordwest Magistrates on Monday to face one charge of grievous bodily harm against another man in his twenties, Rory Rogers.

A spokesman from Dyfed Powys Police said: “A 26 year old man also from Saundersfoot was taken to Withybush Hospital where he is now in a serious condition.”

The defending solicitor, Mike Kelleher, made an application for bail for his client, but due to the serious nature of the offence the magistrates remanded Toulouse in custody to appear at Swansea Crown Court at 10am on November 29.
