EMERGENCY SERVICES rescued a woman and her pet dog from a house fire in Newcastle Emlyn last night (Nov 10).
At approximately 7pm, a fire was reported at a property on Station Road.
Three fire crews from Newcastle Emlyn, Cardigan and Llandysul attended the incident, using a hose reel jet, a thermal imaging camera and breathing apparatus to tackle the blaze.
The fire was contained to the kitchen.
Dyfed-Powys Police and the Welsh Ambulance Service also attended the scene.
The woman was taken to Glangwili Hospital.
