Appeal for witnesses following a robbery in Caerphilly

Gwent Police are investigating a report of robbery in Clos Maes Brag, Caerphilly at around 1.30pm on Saturday 13 January after two men allegedly took a car.

The victim, 36-year-old woman from Caerphilly had left her car, a silver Nissan Note, running while placing items in the back of the car when two men reportedly got in and drove off.

They are believed to have driven on to Pontygwindy Road causing injury to the victim.  

The victim received minor injuries and the car was found abandoned a few streets away.

Enquiries are ongoing and officers investigating want to speak to speak to these two men who were believed to be in the area at the time.
