A Book of condolence has been opened at The Queen’s Hall, Narberth

A BOOK of condolence has been opened at The Queen’s Hall, Narberth, for local residents and visitors to leave messages of sympathy and support for the Royal Family, following the passing away of Her Majesty The Queen, Elizabeth II.

It will be open today (Saturday) and throughout the week between 9 and 5 pm.

Cllr Marc Tierney, county councillor for Narberth Urban ward told The Herald: “The book was donated by EC Thomas & Sons funeral directors and I’ve worked with Narberth Town Council and the Queen’s Hall to ensure the book will be open next week between 9 and 5 pm each day.”

“Queen Elizabeth II reigned for an extraordinary period of time, for many the entirety of our lifetimes.

“Her Majesty The Queen dedicated her life to serve our country and the nations of the Commonwealth with a sense of duty and commitment that has been admired and widely respected.

“My condolences are with the Royal Family. I know that the people of Narberth will share in the sadness and loss being felt across the nation,” he added.
