LILIAN LLOYD from Carmarthenshire has just celebrated her 100th birthday with a visit from the Chair of Carmarthenshire County Council.
The Chair of Carmarthenshire County Council, Cllr Peter Hughes, visited the retired teacher to celebrate her 100th birthday.
Cllr Peter Hughes Griffiths said: “It was a pleasure to call to congratulate Lilian Lloyd of Carmarthen Road, Cross Hands, on her 100th birthday.
“Lilian was a teacher and it was good to hear her tell her story. She taught in Llanddarog School and Drefach before retiring.”
