Vision Youth Theatre presents Everybody’s Talking About Jamie

THE YOUNG people from Vision Youth Theatre are bringing one of the West End’s biggest shows of recent years to the stage in Milford Haven this week.

Everybody’s Talking About Jamie – with music and lyrics by Dan Gillespie Sells and Tom MacRae – is based on a true story detailing the challenging journey of a teenage drag queen – aided and abetted by his team of strong female champions. It has also been adapted as a feature film, starring Sarah Lancashire, Max Harwood and Richard E Grant.

It has garnered a wealth of five-star reviews tackling the big themes of love, acceptance, courage, the power of community and the journey towards finding your own identity – in fact everybody’s talking about Everybody’s Talking About Jamie.

And now Pembrokeshire audiences can find out what all the hype is about when the young cast from Vision Youth Theatre bring their production of the teen edition of the musical to Boulevard Theatre on Thursday. Friday and Saturday (May 18-20).

Directed by Drew Baker, Vision Arts’ Creative Director, this is the first time a youth production has been centred in MIlford Haven. The production has been kindly sponsored by Valero Pembroke Refinery.

Tickets are available from www.visionartswales.com
